Description
A collection of multiple volumes from the work titled The War of the Rebellion: Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies. These volumes are from the 20th-century reprint edition published by the National Historical Society, as evidenced by the Franklin, Nashville, etc. imprint located at the base of the spines. The group consists of volumes from Series I, with visible volume and part numbers including Vol. XXXIII, Vol. XLV Part I (Reports), Vol. XLV Part II (Correspondence, etc.), Vol. XLIV, Vol. XLVI, and Vol. XXX Part IV (Correspondence). Each volume corresponds to specific serial numbers such as Serial No. 60, 93, 94, and 53. The books are bound in publisher’s cloth with gilt-stamped titles and series information on the spines.
