Description
A set of nine porcelain salt cellars manufactured by the TK Thun factory in Czechoslovakia. Each vessel features a bulbous body with a scalloped rim, supported by three pointed tripod feet. The dishes are finished with an allover iridescent luster glaze, accented by gold gilding on the rims and feet. The underside of the sampled item bears a green underglaze factory mark consisting of a crown symbol above the initials TK, the name Thun in script, and the word Czechoslovakia in block letters.
