Description
An Art Nouveau earthenware vase manufactured by the Sarreguemines factory. The vessel is designed with an organic, waisted form featuring vertical ribbing that flares into a tri-lobed, undulating rim. The exterior is finished in a high-gloss, multi-colored flamb? drip glaze with a palette of deep burgundy, aubergine, dark forest green, and bright turquoise. The interior of the vessel is finished in a contrasting solid turquoise glaze. The base of the vase features several impressed marks including the factory name SARREGUEMINES, the letter L, the mold number 3248, the number 221, and a small circular cipher mark.
