Description
This is a Quaker State advertising decal produced for snowmobile oil promotion, circa late 1960s to early 1970s. The piece is a multi-color window or surface mount decal, professionally mounted and housed in a modern black frame under glass. The design features a vertical three-panel layout. The uppermost section consists of a green field featuring the white Quaker State Q logo. The center section is light blue with red block lettering that reads SNOWMOBILE OIL, set above a stylized graphic of a figure in a red suit operating a red snowmobile through a snowy landscape with evergreen trees. The bottom section is a red banner with slanted white text reading SOLD HERE. The decal retains its original manufacturer strips at the top and bottom edges. The bottom margin is marked EXCLUSIVELY BY GOODREN PROD. CORP., ENGLEWOOD, N. J. and includes the Goodstix script logo with the instruction PEEL TAPE SLOWLY. The top margin includes the instruction PRESS AGAINST ANY CLEAN SMOOTH DRY SURFACE.
