Description
A decorative brass tea kettle on a matching tripod stand. The kettle features a spun brass body with a curved spout and a fitted lid topped with a wooden finial. It is equipped with a large overhead handle consisting of ornate cast C-scroll supports and a ribbed wooden heat-resistant grip. The lower half of the kettle body displays a notable yellowish-green iridescent patina. The stand is a circular ring design supported by three legs with decorative foliage-motif castings at the knees. Two side-mounted handles on the stand match the design of the kettle’s main handle. The interior shows mineral deposits and oxidation consistent with functional use. No maker marks or factory stamps are visible on the object. Estimated Height: 14 inches.
