Description
A collection of five heavy-gauge metal advertising signs with a fused porcelain enamel finish, produced by Ande Rooney Inc. This group features iconic American transportation and industrial brands. Included in the lot are three circular signs: Cadillac Authorized Service with a multi-colored crest, Chevrolet Corvette featuring the crossed-flags logo on a silver field, and Northern Pacific Railway with the red and black monad logo. The two rectangular signs comprise a Fisk Tires sign with the Time to Re-Tire mascot and an Indian Motorcycles sign with a yellow field and Native American profile logo. The Cadillac sign is explicitly marked on the lower margin with the text Ande Rooney Inc. Made in U.S.A. 1986. The remaining signs share identical physical characteristics, construction methods, and reverse-side finishes. Each sign features pre-drilled mounting holes and a uniform matte dark grey finish on the reverse.
