Description
This advertising sign promotes Copenhagen smokeless tobacco and features the brand’s classic mid-century design. The rectangular metal sign, likely constructed of painted tin or steel, is divided into two horizontal sections. The upper off-white or cream-colored field displays the words Chew Copenhagen in bold black lettering, with Chew rendered in a stylized script and Copenhagen in a heavy sans-serif typeface. The lower portion consists of a solid black band containing the slogan It’s a pleasure in a cream-colored italicized sans-serif font.
