Description
This lot features two pressed steel toy trucks manufactured by Star Toys of America, dating to approximately the 1940s or 1950s. The first item is a stake-side delivery truck with a red cab and a yellow bed. The bed features lithographed decals on both sides for the Polar Ice Company, showcasing a central polar bear graphic. A circular logo to the left of the bear is marked United States Star Toys of America. The second item is a red wrecker tow truck with a matching cab design. It is equipped with a rear-mounted manual boom and a winch mechanism operated by a wire crank. Both vehicles are constructed from heavy-gauge pressed steel and feature metal wheels and free-rolling axles.
