Description
A pair of American lathe-turned wooden bowls. The lot features one bowl in a natural finish that displays an incised maker mark for Munising on the base, identifying it as a product of the Munising Wood Products Company. This bowl has a classic functional round form. The second bowl has a darker polished finish and showcases bird’s-eye grain patterning throughout the wood. Both bowls are turned from solid hardwood and were likely manufactured in the mid-20th century. One bowl has a contemporary retail or auction tag attached to the interior.
