A collection of nine miniature cast iron advertising and souvenir skillets, primarily produced as promotional premiums and ashtrays during the mid-20th century. The assortment includes eight pieces with embossed interior inscriptions or graphics: Eldon Stutsman; Johnson’s Dollar Store of Somerset, Kentucky; St. Augustine’s Oldest Store Museum; Johnson Cotton Co. featuring a central Nathan’s diamond logo; Sheet Metal Poultry Equip. Mumford Works; and White Furn. Co. of Alex. City and Lineville, Ala. One skillet is marked Tuloma on the interior with the reverse bearing the Wagner Ware stylized logo and catalog number 1050. A dual-spout example features the International Molders and Foundry Workers Union of North America emblem with a central graphic depicting shaking hands above an anvil. The ninth piece in the collection features a plain dual-spout interior, with the reverse side embossed Selbyville Delaware and featuring three small peg feet. All pieces are constructed of cast iron with various handle styles and pour spout configurations.
