Description
A miniature cast iron ashtray designed in the form of a small skillet, produced as a promotional item for the Martin Stove & Range Company of Florence, Alabama. The piece features a shallow circular basin with two integral notched cigarette rests positioned on opposite sides of the rim. A single short handle extends from the base and includes a teardrop-shaped hanging hole. The interior center of the basin is cast with the name Martin in stylized cursive script, underlined with a flourish, above the word STOVES in capitalized block lettering. The reverse side is plain and undecorated.
