Lot 241:
Description
Handcrafted large-scale model of a crawler excavator constructed from solid wood, primarily oak, with a natural honey-toned finish. This articulated model features a movable three-part digging arm consisting of a boom, stick, and bucket. The assembly includes wooden sliding cylinders designed to simulate hydraulic action. The superstructure is mounted on a pivot, allowing for 360-degree rotation. The undercarriage features functional caterpillar tracks made of numerous individual wooden links joined together to rotate around drive and idler wheels. Detailed elements include a cabin with an interior seat and dual control levers, a simulated vertical exhaust pipe, and a tiered engine compartment. This piece is characteristic of high-quality models built from professional woodworking patterns. An auction lot tag is currently attached to the boom.
