Description
This lot consists of two pressed steel toy cement mixer trucks manufactured by Structo Manufacturing Co. and Tonka Toys. The larger vehicle is a Structo Ready Mix model featuring a red pressed steel body and a six-wheel tandem rear axle configuration. It is equipped with a cream-colored plastic mixer drum with a gear-driven rotation mechanism, a wrap-around windshield, dual roof-mounted horns, and white side mirrors. Markings include white decals on the side doors reading STRUCTO READY MIX, tire sidewalls molded with STRUCTO MADE IN U.S.A. 10.00×20, and the word GAS embossed on the chassis near the cab step. The second vehicle is a Tonka truck featuring a Jeep Gladiator-style cab in red pressed steel. This model includes a manual hand-crank on the side to rotate the cream-colored plastic mixer drum and a top-mounted cylindrical tank. It features oval Tonka decals on the side doors and the Tonka logo embossed on the rear housing. The tires are molded with the Tonka brand name.
