Description
This is a commemorative desk clock from Waterford Crystal, produced as part of the Millennium 2000 collection. The clear lead crystal case features a tiered skyscraper silhouette in the Art Deco style, known as the Metropolitan pattern. The circular white dial is marked Waterford Crystal and features black Roman numeral hour markers and a railroad-style minute track. The dial has black spade hands and a gold-tone sweep second hand, set within a gold-tone bezel. The front of the crystal case is etched with a laurel wreath containing the year 2000 above the word MILLENNIUM. The clock utilizes a quartz movement by SII (Seiko Instruments Inc.). The metal back of the movement insert is stamped MOV’T THAILAND, CASE CHINA, and SII ?.
