Lot 105:
Description
A single-sided member identification sign produced for agricultural and consumer cooperatives, typically dating from the mid-20th century. The sign is constructed of finished metal, likely porcelain enamel on heavy-gauge steel, featuring a characteristic high-gloss finish. The graphic design consists of a white field framed by a red rectangular border. Centered on the field is the word CO-OP in large, bold red sans-serif block letters, positioned above the word MEMBER in smaller, red italicized sans-serif capitals. The sign features rolled edges and is equipped with four pre-drilled mounting holes, one at each corner. The reverse side is finished in a uniform black coating. No manufacturer marks, date stamps, or maker labels are visible on the front or back of the sign.
