Description
An original embossed metal advertising sign for McCormick-Deering Farm Machines, a brand of the International Harvester Company. The rectangular sign features a black enameled background with embossed yellow block lettering. The top line reads MCCORMICK-DEERING in large characters, utilizing a superscript C and a central hyphen. The bottom line reads FARM MACHINES in a slightly smaller embossed font. Small yellow printed text in the bottom left corner reads Made in U.S.A. The sign is constructed with four mounting holes, one located at each corner. The reverse side of the sign exhibits a debossed impression of the front text. Dimensions: Rectangular format (length is significantly greater than height).
