Description
This electric hurricane-style table lamp is designed in the tradition of late 19th-century central-draft oil lamps, such as those by Miller or Rayo. The lamp features a polished brass-toned metal base and a font-shaped body. The shade assembly consists of a clear glass chimney and a white milk glass outer shade. The milk glass shade is characterized by a bulbous form and a ruffled pie-crust upper rim. The fixture is powered by a clear plastic-coated electrical cord with a standard two-prong US plug and is operated by a black turn-key switch on the socket housing. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the exterior or base of the lamp.
