Description
10 in diameter x 22 inches tall. This is an antique child’s pull wagon, designed in the express or coaster style. The toy is constructed with a wooden bed and side panels secured by internal iron corner braces. It features four wooden wheels composed of wooden hubs, spokes, and felloes, reinforced with outer iron tires. The steering mechanism is a manual pivoting front axle system connected to a long wooden pull handle via an iron bracket assembly. No manufacturer stencils, stamps, or maker marks are visible on the wooden body or the iron hardware. The construction and materials are characteristic of American toy manufacturing from the late 19th to early 20th century.
