Description
This lot features a pair of fine art lithographs by artist Lee Cable, produced in collaboration with the International Council for Bird Preservation and published by The Franklin Mint. The first print, titled Morning Majesty (1989), depicts a bald eagle soaring over a mountainous coniferous forest landscape at sunrise. The second print, titled Chasing the Sunset (1990), portrays a bald eagle in flight over a rocky coastline with crashing ocean waves. Each lithograph features a hand signature by the artist in the lower right corner. The prints are housed in matching gold-toned frames with double matting; Morning Majesty features a dark green inner mat, while Chasing the Sunset utilizes a dark blue inner mat. Both works include original Certificates of Authenticity from The Franklin Mint affixed to the reverse of the frames.
