Description
This wirework egg basket is designed in the folk art style to resemble a nesting hen, featuring a stylized head, beak, and tail. The basket is constructed from wrought galvanized iron or steel wire, composed of a series of horizontal and vertical wires that form an open-work cage. The upper section is shaped into the anatomical silhouette of a chicken. The basket contains an assortment of turned wooden eggs finished in a light ochre or yellow tone.
