Description
An eight-gallon stoneware crock manufactured by the Robinson-Ransbottom Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio. The large cylindrical vessel features a thick, rolled rim and is finished in a cream-colored Bristol glaze. The piece is mold-made, characterized by a prominent vertical seam visible on the reverse side. The front of the crock is decorated with a cobalt blue stenciled crown mark containing the numeral 8, which identifies both the maker and the vessel capacity. Capacity: 8 gallons.
