Description
This collection includes four scale models produced by Maisto and Exoto. Each model is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and features functional opening parts. The highlight of the collection is an Exoto Racing Legends series Ford GT40 MKII finished in metallic blue with dual white racing stripes and number 2 decals. This model features a hinged rear cowl revealing a highly detailed engine bay, opening doors, a detailed interior, and Good Year branded tires. The underside is embossed with a diamond-shaped Racing Legends logo, FORD GT40 MKII, 1:18, and ?2000 EXOTO INC. It also features an inset silver plate with serial number A 2812. The collection also contains a Maisto Dodge Viper GTS Coupe in blue with dual white stripes, featuring an opening hood and doors with a gray and white interior. The underside is marked with the Dodge Viper logo, VIPER GTS COUPE, and Maisto. Also included is a red 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL by Maisto featuring a tan interior, opening hood, and opening doors. The chassis is marked Mercedes Benz 190 SL (1955). The final model is a yellow Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 Kompressor by Maisto with a black and yellow interior, marked MERCEDES BENZ SLK 230 on the underside.
