Description
Works but will need a new cord. 30 inches. This is a vintage wall-mounted electric barber pole produced by the William Marvy Company of St. Paul, Minnesota. The unit is constructed with a clear outer cylinder protecting a rotating inner cylinder featuring the traditional red, white, and blue spiral stripe motif. The mounting bracket and frame are made of cast aluminum, while the top and bottom end caps are finished in polished chrome-plated metal. A manufacturer’s specification plate is attached to the lower portion of the mounting bracket and reads: SPECIFICATIONS / OUTER CYLINDER – 6 X 16 / MARVCYL INNER CYLINDER 5 1/4 X 16 / WITH ENDS ATTACHED / IF YOUR DEALER CAN’T SUPPLY / REPLACEMENT PARTS-WRITE TO: / WILLIAM MARVY CO. / 1540 ST. CLAIR AVE. ST. PAUL 5, MINN. The unit includes its original internal wiring, which is routed through a channel in the mounting bracket.
