Description
This lot features two black-painted metal candle holders crafted in a primitive Early American style. The first item is a wall-mounted sconce consisting of a rectangular backplate with a fluted scalloped top edge and a single mounting hole. It features a curved support for a cylindrical candle cup and includes one yellow taper candle. The second item is a hanging candle holder characterized by a large S-curved hook that terminates in a circular drip pan with an integrated candle cup. It includes one orange taper candle. A white paper inventory tag is attached to the hanging hook with text reading Atlee Rab…, a barcode, and the number 472. These pieces are contemporary reproductions of traditional folk art metalwork.
