Lot 46:
Description
A trio of bulk vending machine heads mounted on a shared cloverleaf-style cast aluminum base plate, consistent with the Northwestern Corporation Model 33 design. Each unit consists of a clear glass globe, a cast aluminum housing, and a matching cast aluminum lid. The entire assembly is supported by a central tubular metal pedestal pole that connects to a circular weighted floor base. The machines operate via a five-cent nickel-based Jiggle Slide mechanism, featuring horizontal levers and red-and-white printed metal instruction plates. Three separate vintage decals are present on the glass globes: one for Almonds, one for Fresh Cashews, and one for Chlora-Pellets to stop bad breath. The decals indicate a five-cent cost and note that the machines are locally owned and operated. The interior contains visible metal components including dispensing slides and product agitators. Height: 42 inches Width: 16 inches.
