Description
Desktop display model of a Curtiss JN-4 Jenny biplane, resembling the 1/100 scale models produced by Daron Worldwide Trading. This solid-bodied model is constructed of carved mahogany or high-quality resin with a hand-painted yellow finish. The aircraft displays authentic World War I era United States Army Air Service markings, including blue circle roundels with white stars and red centers on the upper and lower wing surfaces and the fuselage sides. The fuselage bears the black serial number 34190. The vertical stabilizer features the period-correct vertical red, white, and blue stripes. Additional details include a two-blade propeller with a wood-grain finish and double-wing biplane construction with brown-painted support struts. The model is mounted on a contemporary black-finished pedestal stand. The base of the stand features gold-toned lettering that reads Curtiss Jenny JN-4.
