Description
This lot features a pair of precision die-cast model cars in approximately 1/24 scale, attributed to Franklin Mint. The first model is a 1935 Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster, finished in white with a red accent stripe and a red soft top. Key features include chrome-finished external exhaust pipes, chrome wire wheels with whitewall tires, and the script S U P E R – C H A R G E D on the hood sides. The second model is a Duesenberg Model J Convertible finished in red with a tan interior and tan convertible top boot. This model features a dual-opening butterfly-style hood that reveals a detailed engine compartment with a green engine block, as well as opening doors and chrome wire wheels with whitewall tires. Both models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic, chrome-plated, and rubber components. One model retains a partial paper manufacturer tag stating the item is hand-assembled and finished to high standards of quality.
