Large Camel neon is not working. other work well. A trio of vintage tobacco advertising items featuring the Joe Camel mascot character produced for the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. The collection consists of two neon signs and a molded plastic wall clock. The first item is a large neon sign mounted on a black metal framework. The display features the brand name Camel and a dromedary silhouette in yellow neon, positioned above the phrase Genuine Taste in white script neon. A label on the base identifies the manufacturer as Fallon of Spartanburg, South Carolina. The unit is equipped with a France Brand Gas Tube Sign Power Supply, Model 9000 FS. The second item is a shaped neon sign depicting Joe Camel wearing blue sunglasses and a cigarette with a red glowing tip. The reverse bears a manufacturer label from Fallon of Spartanburg, South Carolina, with a copyright date of 1997 R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. A gold adhesive label designates this unit as a Limited Edition 1997 – Not For Retail Display piece with serial number FN0398. The third item is a molded plastic wall clock featuring a three-dimensional Joe Camel figure wearing a leather jacket and jeans leaning against the circular clock face. The face features the Camel brand name and a Camel Lights cigarette pack. The reverse retains the original instruction label with R.J. Reynolds item numbers 208430 and 213391.
