Description
This lot comprises an assortment of Coca-Cola branded items, including a reproduction porcelain enamel sign, a weathered wooden bottle crate with multiple bottles, and a large-format quart bottle. The rectangular porcelain enamel sign features a red ground with a green outer border and a yellow inner border. It displays the text ICE COLD in yellow with white icicle motifs, the Coca-Cola script logo in white, and AS ALWAYS FIVE 5 CENTS below, with the number 5 prominently featured in yellow. The reverse of the sign bears an original paper label from the manufacturer, Ande Rooney of Port Ewen, New York, stating it is a reproduction made using kiln-fired porcelain enamels. The group includes a red-painted wooden shipping crate with metal-reinforced corners and a faded white Coca-Cola script logo on the side. The crate holds four red cardboard six-pack carriers containing a variety of greenish-tinted glass hobbleskirt bottles. These bottles feature white Applied Color Label (ACL) markings such as Coke, Coca-Cola, money back bottle, and return for refund. Several bottles in the rear rows retain their original red metal crown caps. Also included is a 32 fluid ounce (1 quart) clear glass bottle with white ACL lettering marked return for deposit and Coca-Cola.
