Description

One small chip to lense. Globe is free of chips and cracks. This is a vintage Mobil Regular gasoline pump globe, a classic piece of mid-20th-century American automobilia. The item consists of a white milk glass body with two circular glass lenses. Each lens features the Mobil brand logo used from the mid-1950s through the 1960s, which includes the brand name in dark blue block lettering and the iconic red flying Pegasus logo centered below. The word Regular is printed in dark blue at the bottom of the design. The graphics are framed within a blue-bordered shield featuring a red chevron-style base. The lenses are secured to the body by metal mounting clips and black-headed screws. This type of globe was standard for Mobil service stations across the United States. Diameter: 16 inches.
