Description
A vintage bulk liquid delivery can manufactured by The Davis Welding & Manufacturing Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. Constructed from heavy-gauge metal, the vessel was originally utilized for the transport and delivery of petroleum products. The design features a cylindrical body with vertical ribs, a conical shoulder, and a sturdy, curved tubular handle. It is equipped with a heavy hinged lid attached to the handle via a metal chain. The lid is embossed with THE DAVIS WELDING & MFG. CO., CINCINNATI OHIO, and several patent dates including PAT. JAN. 27-20, AUG. 31-20, and NOV. 22-21. The body displays a circular white decal featuring the Mobil Pegasus logo and brand name.
