Lot 190A:
Description
This is a two-tier electrified candle-style chandelier in the primitive or Colonial Revival style, closely resembling the Witches Hat designs by Irvin’s Tinware. The fixture is constructed from sheet metal with a matte charcoal gray finish. It features a tiered conical central body and twelve scrolling flat-bar arms arranged in two tiers, with four arms on the upper tier and eight on the lower tier. Each arm terminates in a crimped bobeche and a candle-style socket fitted with a yellow-toned faux-wax sleeve. The chandelier is suspended by a brass-tone chain and is electrified with a modern power cord. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior of the piece. Dimensions: Not provided.
