Description
This twin-size Colonial Revival style bed is constructed from maple or a similar light-toned hardwood and features an integrated pull-out trundle unit. The main four-poster frame is characterized by turned posts topped with prominent ball or cannonball finials. The headboard is designed with a decorative arched top and scrolled ears, while the footboard consists of a rectangular panel with a base cutout. The frame utilizes a traditional rope-strung suspension system for mattress support, a construction technique common in earlier furniture manufacturing. The matching trundle unit is set on casters and includes a low wooden headboard and footboard. No maker marks or labels were identified during inspection. Dimensions: Standard Twin Size.
