Description
marbles manufactured from glass, contained within a storage jar. The collection features a variety of machine-made marbles, primarily dating from the mid-20th century. Included styles are cat’s eyes, swirls, patches, and solid opaques in various colors and transparencies. The lot contains multiple sizes, including standard player marbles and several larger shooter marbles. A significant feature of this collection is the inclusion of several marbles that exhibit a bright green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light, characteristic of uranium glass. The marbles are housed in a clear glass storage jar with a threaded rim. The front of the jar features embossed lettering that reads SURE SEAL MASON.
