Description
This lot consists of two mid-20th-century galvanized steel advertising pails, each equipped with its original wire bail handle. The first bucket features an orange and black label for Mutual Dairyade, a baby food compound intended for calves, pigs, and poultry. This item was manufactured by the Mutual Products Co. based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is marked with a net weight of 25 lbs. The second bucket is an advertising piece for Bondex Cement Paint, produced by The Reardon Company with locations listed in St. Louis, Chicago, Los Angeles, Bayonne, and Montreal. The label features the circular Reardon Water Paints logo and instructional text regarding its use on masonry surfaces. The Bondex bucket features factory-stamped dimensions on the upper exterior rim. Both containers are constructed from galvanized sheet metal with vertical seams.
