Description
This decorative safety lamp is modeled after a traditional miners oil lantern and is branded for The Orvis Company, Inc. The main cylindrical body features an applied oval brass plaque embossed with the company name along the top and Established 1856 along the bottom. The central graphic on the plaque displays crossed fishing rods above a fly-fishing reel, flanked by two fish icons. The lamp is constructed from polished brass-toned metal and features a clear glass chimney protected by a cage of four vertical rods. A central wick assembly is visible inside the glass cylinder. The unit sits on a weighted circular base that includes multiple ventilation holes around its circumference.
