Description
A group of nesting oval storage boxes of graduated sizes, constructed from a combination of thin wood laminate and heavy pasteboard. The boxes feature a hand-painted, distressed finish in a primitive folk-art style, with colors including ochre, forest green, and russet red. The lid rims are constructed with visible metal staples. The interiors are unpainted, revealing the natural fibrous material of the substrate. A small circular yellow sticker is present on the interior of one box, bearing the printed text MADE IN PHILIPPINES. One box retains a white auction tag from Atlee Raber Auctions with barcode and reference numbers 43 and 54.
