Description
A primitive-style wooden tool tote or carrier of utilitarian workshop construction. The piece is crafted from solid wood, likely pine or a similar coniferous species, and features a two-tier storage design. The upper level contains a divided tray with four individual compartments, while the lower level consists of a large, open storage area. A thick, rounded wooden dowel handle with remnants of green paint is secured between two peaked side supports using simple nailed and screwed joinery, including a single flat-head screw visible on one side. A contemporary white paper auction tag is attached to the handle with a handwritten number 293 and a printed number 51. No manufacturer marks or stamps are present on the wood surfaces.
