Description
This ceramic art pottery vase is a product of Weller Pottery in the Cornelia pattern. The form features a widely flared and ruffled rim with a smooth mustard-yellow glaze that extends into the interior. The neck tapers to a bulbous base detailed with molded vertical fluting and finished in a textured, mottled orange-brown glaze. Decoration includes relief-molded blue floral blossoms with yellow centers and green leaves on the front, with a single molded vine encircling the neck. The underside of the base is incised with the stylized cursive signature Weller and the mold number C-22. Additionally, there is a small, hand-painted letter R in brown on the base.
