Description
This two-piece covered dish is attributed to Indiana Glass and is modeled in the form of a hen on a nest. It is crafted from translucent pressed glass in a color often referred to as Horizon Blue or Cornflower Blue. The lid is shaped as a hen with detailed feathering on the body and wings, and a smooth, solid tail. The base features a textured basketweave exterior and is finished with a decorative beaded rim. A circular mold mark is present on the top of the hen’s back, but it contains no legible text or manufacturer symbols. Length: Approximately 7 inches.
