Description
western-themed memorabilia primarily focused on Roy Rogers. The lot includes a color-lithographed lobby card for the 1956 re-release of the Republic Pictures production Twilight in the Sierras, starring Roy Rogers, Trigger, and Dale Evans. The card features printed production credits for director William Witney, writer Sloan Nibley, and president Herbert J. Yates, with a blue ink notation reading R 56 / 2 7 4 on the lower right edge and the marking A RE-RELEASE. Also included is a framed black and white promotional photograph of Roy Rogers in western attire with a silver-mounted parade saddle, housed in a black frame with a gold-tone inner fillet. The collection features an assortment ofmolded plastic figurines and horses by Hartland Plastics, including a figure of Roy Rogers on Trigger, a Dale Evans figure, and a masked cowboy resembling the Lone Ranger with a white horse.
