This lot comprises an assortment of historical documents, advertising materials, anditems spanning the late 19th through the mid-20th century. Featured pieces include an illustrated Lion Coffee advertising card from the Woolson Spice Co. of Toledo, Ohio, featuring a lion head graphic. Currency is represented by a 20 Francs banknote from the Tresorerie de Noumea, Nouvelle-Caledonie, dated April 30, 1943 (Serial No. 011 595). The collection contains significant regional items from Pennsylvania, including a 1909 financial statement for The National Bank of Brookville, a Simmons Liver Regulator trade card for druggist A.P. Royer in Williamsburg, and several handwritten receipts from Shippenville and Plain Grove dated 1889. Additional printed materials include a 1933 Chicago World’s Fair souvenir pamphlet issued by the Chicago and North Western Line and a booklet for the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department and Relief Association Constitution and By-Laws. The lot also contains ablack and white photograph depicting three figures in winter attire, a trade card for the Jewel Bar in Galveston, Texas, and a large black felt patch with yellow MAA block letters. The collection is composed of paper-based trade cards, pamphlets, legal documents, and receipts alongside the textile element.
