Description
This is a manual hand-operated pitcher pump manufactured by the Deming Company of Salem, Ohio. The pump is constructed of heavy cast iron and features a weathered red painted finish. The top rim of the main body is embossed with the following text: DEMING CO. SALEM OHIO USA. A numeral 2 is also embossed on the rim near the location name. The long, curved handle is embossed with the characters C 7. The design includes an open-top spout and a flared circular base with four integrated mounting holes for securing the unit to a platform. A threaded metal pipe connection is visible extending from the underside of the base.
