Description
This lot consists of a pair ofvacuum-formed thin plastic Halloween masks, dating to the late 1970s. The first mask depicts a stylized primate face with white hair, tan skin, and prominent orange lips, in the style of characters from the Planet of the Apes franchise. It bears an interior adhesive price tag from Clarkins department store. The second mask is an Imperial Stormtrooper helmet officially licensed by 20th Century Fox. The mask features a glossy white finish with black painted details for the brow, eye sockets, and vents. A cardboard tag stapled to the interior right side is marked STAR WARS, ADULT MASK, and copyright 1977 20th Century Fox Film Corp. This mask also includes an interior Clarkins adhesive price tag. Both masks are constructed of thin plastic and retain their original elastic headbands. These items were originally sold at Clarkins, a regional discount department store in the United States.
