Description
This lot consists of an assortment ofautomotive trim and identification pieces dating approximately from the 1940s through the 1960s. Notable manufacturers represented include Mack Trucks with two circular green and silver hubcap centers; GMC with two chrome-plated block-letter wheel caps; and Plymouth with two stylized sailing ship emblems, including one circular and one rectangular variant. The collection features an American Motors Corporation Ambassador script paired with a small numeric 990 model badge, as well as a Chevrolet Corvair Monza center cap marked 900 monza with a winged emblem. Other identified pieces include a circular International Harvester center cap with the IH logo on a silver radial pattern, a Cadillac crest center medallion in dark brown and gold, a Kaiser script badge, and a Mercury Comet script badge. A Nash shield-shaped emblem with a crown top is present, alongside two script badges reading Super. The group is rounded out by several loose chrome-plated letters including C, I, M, D, and E, as well as various trim fragments. Construction is primarily chrome-plated die-cast pot metal with some pieces utilizing plastic acrylic inserts and enamel detailing. Dimensions: Pieces range from approximately 1 inch to 6 inches in length.
