Description
This 1980s Victorian-revival bridal ensemble is manufactured by Alfred Angelo, Inc. The gown is constructed with a high ruffled neckline adorned with lace appliqu?, faux pearls, and sequins over a sheer mesh illusion yoke. A wide, layered lace Bertha collar wraps around the shoulders and bust. The long sleeves feature puffed shoulders and sheer panels with floral lace details and fitted cuffs. The skirt is composed of multiple tiers of floral lace that extend into a tiered cathedral-length train. The garment closes at the center back with a white nylon zipper. Accompanying the gown is a matching Juliet-style cap headpiece decorated with lace, sequins, and pearls, with an attached multi-tiered tulle veil. Internal tags identify the garment as Style 7605, Color 01, Size 12, with R.N. 24766. A blue and red International Ladies Garment Workers Union label with the AFL-CIO mark is present. The fabric composition includes 100 percent nylon and 100 percent cotton components. The set includes its original blue My Wedding Gown preservation storage box.
