Lot 209:
Sold for: $15
Description
This lot features two items of mid-century modern decorative glassware. The first is a deep, round bowl of transparent emerald green glass with a polished rim, set into a tiered brass-tone metal pedestal mount. While markings on the inner rim of the metal base are worn and not clearly legible, the form and color are highly consistent with the Emerald Glo pattern produced by Paden City Glass Company. The second item is a bulbous ball-form pitcher in vibrant cobalt blue glass. It features a short neck, a small pinched pouring spout, and a thick, applied C-scroll handle. The rim is fire-polished, and the base is smooth and slightly concave with no maker’s marks present.
