Lot 180:
Set 3 Reproduction Dazey-Style Glass Butter Churns
Sold for: $90
Description
This graduated set of three contemporary decorative butter churns is modeled after the antique Dazey design. Each piece features a clear, square glass jar with vertically embossed lettering reading DAZEY. The manual cranking mechanism is constructed of cast metal with exposed bevel gears, fixed to a screw-on lid. The handles are made of turned wood, and each jar contains an internal four-blade wooden dasher. The metal components have been treated with a factory-applied matte, rusted patina to simulate age. The set includes a manufacturer’s shipping box labeled Item RA79004 LMS and Made in India.
