Description
This collection consists of four glazed porcelain figurines featuring polychrome hand-painted decoration and gilt highlights. The group includes an Orientalist-style couple, a courtly gentleman, a courtly lady, and a shepherdess. The standing couple is dressed in stylized East Asian attire; the male figure wears a teal robe with a yellow sash and a long black braid, while the female figure wears a yellow floral robe and holds a blue pleated parasol. The second figure is a gentleman in 18th-century style.
