Description
A large late 19th or early 20th-century Native American Iroquois (Haudenosaunee) beaded pincushion in the form of a high-top boot or shoe. This souvenir whimsey is constructed from a tan velvet or plush fabric base and is heavily adorned with elaborate raised beadwork. The decoration features clear and multicolored glass seed and bugle beads arranged in dense floral motifs, including pink and red flowers.
